Pastor Dave has been facilitating a 10-week study of Ephesians with this Life Group, meeting weekly on Sunday evenings. The apostle Paul writes this letter from prison to the church in Ephesus. Paul expresses thanksgiving for God's blessings, grace and promise with words overflowing with passion and spiritual joy. He assures the Ephesians: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it's the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." (Eph 2:8).
In addition to assurances of God's love and grace, Paul also sets high expectations of believers to "...live a life worthy of the calling you have received." (Eph 4:1). This Life Group has benefitted from engaging discussion and reflection as we dig deeper in the Word and find comfort, direction and grace while cementing richer relationships with one another.
