This year, we had 14 ladies go on Women's Retreat. We got away to Refreshing Mountain Retreat in Lancaster County. There is nothing like taking a break from the normal schedules to connect with God and with other ladies and this year did not disappoint.
We were privileged to have Jenny Gehman from LiveWell Ministries come as our speaker for the weekend. Her theme was Steep Your Life. She showed us six places where we could spend our time - Stress, Shame, Sin, Self, Situations and Suffering. But she used the tea theme to show us that we need to be immersing and steeping in our Savior rather than the other six sites. In our Savior, there is rest, peace and comfort to face life's challenges. Thank you to Jenny and the ladies for soaking in so they can pour out.
